Straw into gold!

"Straw into Gold" is a autobiography written by Sandra Cisneros. She explains about her life experiences and how shes always facing tough challenges. Sandra talks about all of her achievements as well. She talks about the impossible task she has been handed, which she compares to the fairy tale where a woman is forced to spin straw into gold. Even though she does not make it perfect she gets her job done. This autobiography teaches us to never give up when the going gets tough.Sandra also explains her past and how it has effected her life. When she went to school her grades did not correspond with her grade. Her father was a emotional person but her mother was a strong woman. She also mentions how she went against her fathers word and left her house before she was married. She felt ashamed about it but did not let it get in her way to success. "Along the way there is straw for the taking. With a little imagination, it can be spun into gold."

I think that this post is a perfect summary of Cisneros's autobiography. I liked that you included almost every detail while keeping the blog post short. It was also interesting that you used one of Cisneros's quotes to close your post. Great post.

I really love the details you included into the summary. I have to highly agree with Haroutiun for once. He is mostly incorrect, but this time, I believe he said the correct stuff. Good job on summarizing the story. It shows you really understood the story well enough!

Hey Greg, I really enjoyed your summary as well as the story. The author is telling the reader that nothing is impossible and anything can be achieved if one is dedicated. You really explained the story and have an overall great post. Good job, keep up the good work!
