Death of a Salesman is a very interesting book. Arthur Miller is the speaker of the book. This book talks about the American life and dream which is reaching success. The story takes place in New York in 1940.This is when many emigrants came and immigrated in the United States to reach their dreams. The readers are the audience and the audience of the play. the purpose is to entertain.It also informs the readers about the life in the forties. The subject is the American Dream. People worked to reach this dream in many different ways. This story or play is about a Salesman's struggle to reach his dream.

If I have to choose a character that I best relate to, it would most defiantly be Happy. First off me and Happy are always happy. I can not remember the last time I was mad at something or someone. The next most important reason why I am similar to Happy is because like Happy I live under my sisters siblings shadow. I have to older sisters that are better then me in one thing and one thing only. That one thing is school. Yeah they may have a GPA but I most defiantly am more useful then they are. But then again it seems my parents especially my dad pays more attention to them. Even though I know i can do very good in school, I am just too lazy. It seems as so my parents rather hear their stories then mine. Happy and I share the same life style we both live in our siblings shadow.
