Malcolm X

I am writting about Aram O's and Ahrin M's speech. For all of you who looked like you were paying attention but really were not, I am here to tell you about their speech. These two partners wrote about a very famous person in the black history. Malcolm X. They both did a great job describing to us what his speech was about. The speakerof the speech was Malcolm X, the subject of the speech was freedom from the white rule, and freedom for blacks. Malcolm X's tone was very passionate and aggressive. He tries to make the black people stand up and let their voices be heard. He said that if they wanted freedom they had to get it, no one was going to give it to them. He was also trying to say that if they do not  fight the situation will not change.

Malcolm X's speech was very strong because of the ethical and emotional devices. He was trying to make a point that inequality was not ethical and every man should be free and equal. He also used emotion to inspire the black people to fight for their rights. Like his famous quote " the future belongs to those who prepare for it today" this is a very emotional quote. Its meaning is that who ever works hard for their future now, is very likely to have a good future. The blacks never gave up and worked hard for their rights which is why they are free and equal for a very long time.
